An LGBTQA+ exhibition at the George Fry Gallery, Dec. 6 – Jan. 10

The George Fry Gallery at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design will open a new exhibit on Thursday December 6. Queer Bodies | Queer Narratives will feature the work of seven artists working in various mediums from photography to ceramics.

“Queer Bodies | Queer Narratives explores the lived experiences of a group of Fredericton based artists that identify as gender and sexual minorities, through a variety of mediums including photography, fashion, archival records, video, and more. The exhibition is a platform for queer artists to share their perspectives on living and loving in an increasingly divided world, where queer voices are too often driven into the shadows. It is an invitation to share untold stories, and celebration of the queer lives that have always been, and will always be, an important part of this province.” – Dusty Green (New Brunswick Queer Heritage Initiative)

Queer Bodies|Queer Narratives: an LGBTQA+ exhibition features work by Kelly Baker Photography, Vincent Briggs Needlework, Boy Venus, Dusty Green, Kyle Kirby Designs, Chase Benjamin Ceramics and Angel Williams.
