New Brunswick’s summer festival season got off to a strong start last weekend as musicians and music lovers from across the Maritimes (and points further west) congregated together for a weekend of music and outdoor fun in the seaside community of St. Andrews.

This year’s Paddlefest included numerous musical performances happening all over town during the day and into the early evenings with late night shows happening at The Red Herring and The Kennedy Inn.

The Picaroons’ Main Stage hosted a slew of shows that included standout performances by Sorrey, The Hypochondriacs, Terra Lightfoot, Les Hay Babies, The Joel Plaskett Emergency and TUNS, among others.

Congrats to the organizers, the participating venues, all the musicians and everyone in St. Andrews who helped make this year’s event happen.

Paddlefest 2017 proved to be a great reminder that New Brunswickers don’t have to travel far for a top-notch festival experience. What a way to start the festival season!
