2017 Juno Award winners head east this month for shows in NB, NS and PEI in support of forthcoming album.

Vancouver’s modern folk quartet, The Fretless, are passing through the province this month.  The Juno Award winning ensemble will begin a series of east coast performances on March 22 at the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre in Jodique, Nova Scotia. The seven date tour includes a stop at the Carleton North Theatre in Florenceville-Bristol for a show on March 24 before further dates in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Group’s debut album, Waterbound, was released in 2012 and went on to win two Canadian Folk Music Awards. Their self-titled second release earned another CFMA and their third album, Bird’s Nest, won the Juno Award for Instrumental Album of the Year.

With a another album set for release in April, 2018 will no doubt see the group find continued success.
