Old Self & Kam Speech share a new track and release date for forthcoming album.

Tobique First Nation’s Old Self & Kam Speech have been creating a lot of hype around the duo’s upcoming album, Cognition. The pair first hinted towards a new album via a Facebook post on June 28, 2017. Since that time, they’ve been slowly rolling out singles starting with the track Betchu Will, released with an accompanying video in July of last year followed by the singles Rather Get Killed (July 2017), Not With It (January 2018), Precise (March 2018) and Mirror (April 2018). They have also released the album artwork (via Facebook), shared the names of a number of guests who appeard on the album and have even completed a short tour of the east coast.

Last week Old Self (Morgan Nicholas-McDougall) and Kam Speech (Cameron Nicholas) announced June 21 as the official release date for group’s sophomore LP.

Upcoming Performances:

June 19 | Moncton, NB | The Hub Sports Bar & Pub
June 21 | Charlottetown, PEI | Babas Lounge
