Performs at Grimross Brewery – July 8, 2015
Ken Tizzard kicks off his latest East Coast tour tonight at Grimross Brewery. No Dark No Light is the fifth solo album from the reformed bassist who established his music career carrying the low end for such Canadian rock greats as The Watchmen and Thornley.
These days he’s happy to be out on the road performing his own music, his own way.
“In the past, I’ve battled a lot with trying to find a character or niche with my music,” Tizzard explains in his latest bio. “Now I realize that maybe I’m a guy who doesn’t do the same thing twice. Every record I’ve done has moved me in a different direction and onto a different career path. That’s fine and it’s fun!”
The show is another in an impressive series of musical performances happening at the uptown brewery, which has come to play host to some of the country’s most distinguished folk/acoustic acts.
