It’s Safe to Say Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire remains one of NB’s best.

Following the release of their latest full-length Pas l’temps d’niaiser, Moncton’s Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire have just released the album’s first video. And it’s quite something, as you might expect!

Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire are, without a doubt, one of New Brunswick’s most original bands. Their live show is a must-see. Their albums are all must-listens. And their videos of course, are all must-watches. Pretty much everything they do deserves (and commands) attention. And rightfully so. With songs sung in French and English together with the province’s third (un)official language Chiac, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire might just be the most “New Brunswick” of New Brunswick bands. And don’t even get me started on their sense of humour and phenomenal musicianship.

Last week the group shared a video for the song Safe to Say, off their latest album, Pas l’temps d’niaiser, which translates in English to, No Time To Fool Around. Shot in Moncton by Kevin McIntyre and featuring a cast of actors and dancers, Safe to Say packs all the expected fun we come to expect from Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire.

A slow business day at a failing used car lot forces an employee to leave his desk in search of his own personal odyssey. And he finds it. Complete with Sirens, possibly zombies, and plenty of choreography. Easily the best four minutes you will spend today.
