Category: arts 70

Christmas Choice, one of three new exhibitions opening at Gallery 78 on December 2, features a selection of new, small works and fine crafts from Atlantic Canadian artists.

It’s time once again for Gallery 78’s annual Christmas Choice exhibition and sale, a Fredericton tradition that never disappoints. Whether you are shopping for friends and family or doing a little holiday recon for yourself, Christmas Choice is always worth checking out.

This year’s Christmas Choice collection features small works by Jessie Babin, Kim Bent, Laura Boudreau, Matthew Cripps, Anna Cameron, Liz Demerson, Alexandrya Eaton, Yvon Gallant, Molly Lamb Bobak, Danielle Hogan, and others. The exhibition is up now online and will open to the public December 2 with a public reception from 5-7 p.m.

In addition to offering a selection of small art pieces for your gift giving needs, Gallery 78’s regular programming includes two further exhibitions opening on December 2.

52 & Counting is an eclectic collection of new and previous work from renowned and critically acclaimed artist Peter Powning. This exhibition is coinciding with his Retrospective opening at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

And last but not least, William Forrestall presents A Reflective Vision, a collection of his recent work exploring still life compositions of shards, pyramids, and other shapes.

Exhibition Opening: Christmas Choice + 52 & Counting + A Reflective Vision | Gallery 78 | December 2 | 5-7 p.m. | Masks strongly encouraged
