Crash Test Dummies mark the 25th anniversary of God Shuffled His Feet with a performance at the Fredericton Playhouse on November 23.
Multi-platinum selling Canadian band Crash Test Dummies are continuing the celebration of the 25th anniversary of their sophomore album, God Shuffled His Feet, by performing the album in its entirety, and more, on their upcoming fall tour. Special guest is award-winning, singer-songwriter Damhnait Doyle.
In 2017, four of the five original members – Brad Roberts (singer-songwriter), Dan Roberts (bass), Ellen Reid (vocals, keyboards, accordion), – along with drummer Mitch Dorge, reunited and embarked on a tour in 2018 to begin the celebration of their biggest selling album, God Shuffled His Feet. The album, which features the singles Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, Swimming in Your Ocean, Afternoons and Coffee Spoons, and the title track, went triple platinum in Canada and they went on to receive three GRAMMY nominations. The band had already taken home a JUNO Award in 1992 for Group Of The Year after the release of their debut album, The Ghosts That Haunt Me.
Damhnait Doyle is touring in support of her latest album, Liquor Store Flowers, which was released earlier this year. Doyle has garnered much acclaim for her solo work, beginning with her 1996 debut, Shadows Wake Me, as well as, being a member of Shaye and The Heartbroken.
