World class music is not the only thing you’ll find at Fredericton’s Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival this year. Discover the creativity of New Brunswick craft while strolling under the stars at the Craft Night Market.

As part of the 2016 Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, the New Brunswick Crafts Council and Harvest Jazz & Blues present a Craft Night Market featuring fine craft by a selection of talented craftspeople who are juried members of the New Brunswick Crafts Council. Meet the makers and learn about the processes and stories behind their work as you experience the beauty of Downtown Fredericton in front of the Sports Hall of Fame on Queen Street. Spice up your HJ&B experience and celebrate creative talent with one-of-a-kind craft made right here in Atlantic Canada. Craft by Shoshi Designs, Hammerthreads, Trish Raine Felting, Sterling Gale Metalworks, and Sisgu Designs.

“We love bringing craft to Harvest,” says NBCC Project Manager, Claire Shiplett. “Harvest is a huge event for Atlantic Canada and it draws people from all over, showcasing Fredericton as a dynamic city with world-class artists. Placing a spotlight on craft during that time is a wonderful opportunity to engage a fresh audience and showcase the strength of the creative talent here in New Brunswick.”
