South Devon’s Ceeb Dread shares Hard As F***, his first single of 2022.
Embracing his position as a devout rapper and self-styled underdog in the city’s rap community, Dread has built his reputation by doing his own thing and refusing to chase the styles and trends that emerge within hip hop’s broader community.
“Everyday we hustle hard as fuck,” sings Fredericton rapper Ceeb Dread in the opening barrage from his first single of 2022.
Hard As Fuck finds Dread in the place where he excels the most: backed by driving beat that channels 90’s West Coast hip hop aggression with his own distinct lyrical delivery. However, it’s not often we hear him throwing down F-Bombs with such carefree abandon. Maybe it’s a sign of the times. Or maybe it’s a hint towards a more combative Ceeb still taking shape. Only time will tell.
