Catherine Kennedy Plays CSAC – August 6

Category: music 223

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre will host a performance by indie folk artist Catherine Kennedy, Wednesday August 6.

Catherine Kennedy will bring her unforgettable songs and stories to the Charlotte Street Arts Centre’s Culture Garden this Wednesday night for an evening performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Kennedy will be sure to capture and take you on a storytelling journey with her musical compositions that “make you feel part of something bigger.” Her works directly stem from the surrounding environment, where she uses everyday experiences that normally go unnoticed. Her music appears as images in which fiction and reality meet, meaning shifts and the past and present fuse. Having toured her music in countries such as; France, Germany, England and Belgium, Catherine now lives in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where she is currently studying music therapy. She is also a past participant of the CSAC’s Fest Forward, a development/showcase weekend geared towards new and emerging New Brunswick musicians.

This performance is the second in a series of fundraising concerts organized by the CSAC. There will be bar service and Milda’s Pizza will be serving up a tasty menu.
