The Larlee Creek Hullabaloo joins the growing list of cancelled festivals and events for 2020. Next year’s dates have been announced.

Read the official statement below:

The 13th annual Larlee Creek Hullabaloo scheduled for August 5-9, 2020 in Perth-Andover, NB has been cancelled in consideration of the current public health concerns surrounding Covid-19.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Larlee Creek Hullabaloo.

Of utmost importance is the well-being of our community, organizers, audience, artists, volunteers, partners, and anyone participating in our festival week, which is why we are not able to proceed with the 2020 Larlee Creek Hullabaloo under such unprecedented public health concerns. Like so many other summer festivals, we have had to face the choice before us, assessing and reassessing this situation for a number of weeks while closely monitoring the guidance of public health officials across the country during this global pandemic. We have not taken this decision lightly.

This year promised to be an incredible one for the festival—lucky 13! We’ve worked hard over the last eight months to bring you a Hullabaloo to remember, but have no doubt, “The Little Festival that Could” will return even stronger in 2021. In addition to the cancellation of our festival stages, our 2020 Rock n’ Roll Boot Camp for local youth will also be cancelled.

Support from our community has been the backbone of our event and our hearts rest deeply with all those who are feeling the impact of COVID-19. As we all adjust to our new world, a few things have never been more clear; community matters, music matters, a united front matters. We are all in this together!

Our commitment to you is to do everything we can to withstand the storm and be back with you in 2021. In the meantime, take care of each other, support all those artists who are getting us through these challenging times with their music, and please take the direction of our provincial and federal authorities who are working tirelessly on our behalf.

Please save the date for August 11-15, 2021.
