Canada’s premiere drag tragicomedienne touring East Coast

Wartime wonder Pearle Harbour, Canada’s premiere drag tragicomedienne, brings her sweet-as-pie, sharp-as-nails cabaret spectacular Agit-Pop! to the Maritimes this week for six shows in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Award-winning drag tragicomedienne Pearle Harbour brings her cabaret spectacular Agit-Pop! to the Maritimes for six shows beginning October 14 at the King’s Theatre in Annopolis-Royal, NS. Described as musical meditations for the pre-post-apocalypse, Agit-Pop! was developed over five years of live performance and features an ever-changing collection of Pearle’s most hilarious and heart-wrenching short acts.

Weaving her signature acid wit and demented storytelling through the day’s headlines, Pearle takes on the world, from climate catastrophes, to nuclear anxiety, the lust for housing, fake news, and real history.

Accompanied by musical director Steven Conway, Agit-Pop! reimagines the number-one hits of David Bowie, Judy Garland, Roy Orbison, Tom Waits, and more, in ways you’ve never heard before.

Pearle’s tour wraps up with three New Brunswick shows including a Pay What You Can performance at the Fredericton Playhouse on October 21.

Please be advised this performance contains mature themes or subject matter and is intended for mature audiences.
