The 2019 New Brunswick Playwrights’ Cabaret will take place April 6 at The Tipsy Muse Café.

The Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre (PARC) will host the 2019 New Brunswick Playwrights’ Cabaret in Fredericton on April 6 at The Tipsy Muse Café.

The Cabaret is an annual event for connecting with local writers while listening to readings from colleagues across the province. Organizers of the 2019 event are looking for interested writers looking to share an old play, a new play or a script-in-progress. Presentation spots will be reserved for current PARC members, but are also open to non-members who are interested in joining PARC.

Interested writers are asked to email to James McClure (jas.mcclure@gmail.com) or Clarissa Hurley (churley1@unb.ca) and include a brief summary of your play, its current state of development and any requirements you need for a reading.

Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 PM AT on March 22. Due to time constraints, presenters will be asked to limit each reading to a maximum of ten minutes.

This event is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome to support PARC’s efforts to cultivate the dramatic arts across the Atlantic provinces.
