Braden Lam hits the road in support of his new EP, Inside Four Walls, produced by Colin Buchanan.
PEI producer Colin Buchanan has an incredible ear for pop music. Through his work with Adyn Townes, Sorrey, Coyote, Paper Lions and others, Buchanan has been helping to craft and inspire new directions in sound for some of the region’s best performers. Halifax musician Braden Lam is among the latest to benefit from Buchanan’s production skills. Supported by a sizable cast of guest musicians, Lam’s latest EP, Inside Four Walls, expands upon the pop leanings first introduced on his 2018 EP, Driftwood People.
On his latest single Forest Fires, Lam adds a touch of beauty to some of the most urgent topics surrounding international environmentalism, juxtaposing a need for immediate action above a highly polished pop hook. Tim Mombourquette’s video work takes it over the top. It’s a collaboration that triggers all the feels.
Lam is currently on tour playing dates in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI over the month.
