This weekend’s roundup includes so many bands playing so many stages. Music, music, music!

Friday

Black Suit Devil at The Tipsy Muse Café. Black Suit Devil is an Acoustic Soul project formed by Canadian Musician Andy Du Rego, and at this year’s Living Roots Festival, he gave a fantastic and memorable performance. 4:30 p.m. $10.

Gordon Gets Lost + The Easley Quartet + Jessii The Artist at The Capital Complex (Wilser’s Room). 8:30 p.m.

Mad Mary + Izabelle at Dolan’s Pub. 8 p.m.

Theresa Malenfant & The Instigators + Ginger Kings at Klub Khrome. 10 p.m.

Terry Whalen Band at The Lunar Rogue. 9:30 p.m.

Sugarbomb at The Snooty Fox. 9 p.m.

FM Berlin + Kill Chicago + The Backstays + 86&8 at The Capital Complex. 10:00 p.m.

Brent Mason at The Tipsy Muse Café. As a songwriter, story teller, and human being, Brent is a true treasure to NB’s musical heritage. He is a seasoned veteran who has been performed for over 25 years with Saint John as his base, recording 10 records in the process. He has been nominated and/or won ECMA and Music NB awards, including MNB folk/roots recording of the year in 2012. 7 p.m. $13. 

The Jim Axelrod Big Little Band plays The Abbey Café & Gallery. You’ll hear songs made famous by Billie Holiday, Ray Charles, Dutch Mason, the Downchild Blues Band, and more. Come hear some great jazz & blues during Harvest. 6-8 p.m. $10.

Saturday

Connor Fox at The Tipsy Muse Café. Connor Fox is wildly talented guitarist who developed his interest and passion for the guitar at a very early age. At the age of 9, he got his entry into live performance when the Bravener family invited him to sit in with them, alongside Elvis Presley’s drummer DJ Fontana, at the Fredericton Playhouse, and he hasn’t looked back since. 3 p.m. $10.

The Capital Complex presents 13 hours of continuous music at Wilser’s Room. Les Paiens + Wicked Vices + Black Suit Devil + Honey Gut + Jerry-Faye + Chikahominy Mountain Band + Kylie Fox + The Fundy Drifters + Maggie’s Farm Revival. Doors at 1 p.m.

The Brood + Marian + Vesuvio Solo at The Capital Complex. 10:30 p.m.

Theresa Malenfant & The Instigators at Klub Khrome. 2:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Ginger Kings at Klub Khrome. 2 a.m.

Honey Gut and Guests at Brewbakers. 11 p.m.

Terry Whalen Band at The Lunar Rogue. 9:30 p.m.

Sugarbomb at The Snooty Fox. 12 p.m.

The Almighty Mundingers at The Snooty Fox. 9 p.m.

Chris Kirby at The Tipsy Muse Café. Chris is a multi-award winning songwriter, artist and producer with 5 full length solo albums to his credit and over 50 cowrites with the likes of Billy Falcon (Bon Jovi/Faith Hill), Colin MacDonald (The Trews), Stephen Fearing, Shaun Verreault (Wide Mouth Mason) and Tim Chaisson. 7 p.m. $15.

Summertune at the Picaroons Roundhouse. Summertune is an event with a purpose: to profile Fredericton businesses – bands, craft beer, cider and spirits purveyors, food vendors, and local businesses, who are all coming together for an evening of live music, food, and drink. Proceeds from the event will go directly to Greener Village, the driving organization behind the Fredericton Food Bank. Five local bands will take the stage, performing 1-hour sets each. There is something for everyone: R&B, Blues, Country Rock, and Classic Rock. 5 p.m. Free.
